Bryan Broussard, LMT

Bryan is a practicing massage therapist trained in
western therapeutic techniques as well as
traditional Chinese massage. Bryan
specializes in rehabilitative massage therapy. His technique is largely
based in Asian bodywork and incorporates a number of effective western
deep tissue and myofascial techniques.
Bryan was instrumental in the founding of Tao Health
Center and is
also the director of the Academy
of Integrated Arts in Austin. He teaches
classes in Filipino Martial Arts and Shoot Fighting at the Center.
He is an apprentice instructor under Inosanto
International and full instructor under Ray Parra (full Kali/Silat/Jeet Kune Do
instructor under Inosanto International, Muay Thai kickboxing instructor under Ajarn Surachai "Chai" Sirisute, Pekiti Tirsia Kali
instructor under Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje, Jr., JKD grappling instructor under Marc McFann's Unified Fighting Arts). Under the Inosanto International banner, Bryan is certified in Jun Fan Gung Fu (Jeet Kune Do) and the Filipino
Martial Arts.
Bryan is also an instructor in Filipino Combative Martial Arts
International under Guro John Daniels and Grand
Master Al Dacascos; instructor in Larry Hartsell's JKD Grappling Association; and is the #1
student of Mark Kay (the most renown take-down instructor for the mixed
martial arts in the state of Texas), who frequently guest stars as an
instructor at the Academy. Bryan
studied Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
for three years in the late 1990s under (then) Machado instructor Marc Ritacco. He has also been a member of Da'mon Stith's Capoeira Da Rua since 2001.
